Wallet, Refund and Charges Policy
Gogo Cabs Private Limited · Last updated: 30 September 2026
This policy explains how the Wallet in your Vendor Account works, what is deducted from it, and what is refunded when you leave. It is part of the Vendor and Driver Terms and Conditions.
1. What you pay at registration
| Item | Amount | What it is |
| Wallet credit | ₹400 | Added to your Wallet. Refundable on exit, as set out below. |
| Onboarding fee | ₹300 (incl. GST) | ₹200 for your first vehicle and ₹100 for your first Driver. Used up at registration. Not refundable. |
| Total | ₹700 | |
2. How the Wallet works
- There is one Wallet for each Vendor Account. It covers your vehicles and all Drivers you add. Drivers do not have a separate wallet.
- Topping up the Wallet is voluntary. You are not forced to add money beyond your registration credit.
- The Wallet is only for amounts you owe Gogo Cabs. It earns no interest, cannot be transferred to anyone else, and cannot be withdrawn as cash except as part of a refund on exit.
3. What is deducted
- Commission of 10% of the total fare of each completed ride.
- Fees for adding a vehicle (₹200 incl. GST) or a Driver (₹100 incl. GST), and other fees on our Pricing page.
- Cancellation and late-arrival charges (Section 7).
- Charges for misconduct (Section 8).
- Any other amount you owe us under the Terms.
Every deduction appears in your Wallet transactions in the app, so you can check what was charged and why.
4. What is added
- Your top-ups and your registration credit.
- Compensation from Customer cancellations. When a Customer cancels after a driver is assigned, the cancellation charge they pay is credited, as far as possible, to the Vendor Account.
- Reversals of any deduction that was wrongly made.
5. If your balance goes below zero
- Your balance can go below zero, for example when a charge is larger than your balance. A negative balance is an amount you owe Gogo Cabs.
- Because the account is central, anything caused by any of your Drivers is charged to the same Vendor Account.
- While the balance is negative, we may stop sending you new rides or suspend your account. We may recover the amount from later credits and from any refund due to you.
- You can clear a negative balance by topping up your Wallet.
6. Leaving Gogo Cabs: refund of your Wallet
You can ask us at any time to close your Vendor Account. To settle the Wallet we will:
- Check that no ride is in progress and that every open issue is noted.
- Take the Wallet balance on the day your exit is confirmed.
- Deduct any amount you owe us, including a negative balance, unpaid charges and any misconduct charges (Section 8).
- Deduct at least 10% of the Wallet balance as an exit and administration charge.
- Refund the rest to your verified bank account, within 7 days of your exit being confirmed.
Example. If your balance is ₹400 and you owe nothing, ₹40 is deducted and ₹360 is refunded. If your balance is ₹100 and you owe ₹30, ₹30 is deducted for the amount owed, at least ₹10 is deducted as the exit charge, and up to ₹60 is refunded.
The onboarding fee and amounts already deducted as commission or fees are not refunded. If your dues are more than your balance, no refund is due, and you must pay the difference.
7. Cancellations and late arrival
- A charge may apply if you or a Driver cancel an accepted ride, do not turn up, or arrive late without a valid reason.
- Valid reasons include a vehicle breakdown, an accident or medical emergency, a Customer who cannot be reached or does not show up, an unlawful or unsafe trip request, and wrong booking details.
- The charge is not fixed. It depends on the circumstances, including the ride fare and how close to pickup time the cancellation happened. It will be reasonable, and never more than any limit that applies to us by law.
8. Misconduct charges and complaints
- We may charge your Wallet where a complaint against you or a Driver, for example abuse or harassment of a Customer, demanding extra money, unsafe driving, fraud, or misbehaviour towards Gogo Cabs staff or office executives, is found to be correct.
- The amount is not fixed. It depends on the type and seriousness of the misconduct, who was affected, the ride value and the loss caused.
- We will tell you in writing what happened and the amount, and you have 7 days to respond before the charge is final. In urgent safety cases we may act first and give you the same chance to respond afterwards.
- Complaints and your refund. Complaints against you or your Drivers are taken into account when we settle your Wallet on exit. If there are substantiated complaints, we may reduce the refund by an amount that is reasonable for them, and we may hold back an amount linked to a complaint that is still under review. We will tell you the reason and the amount, and you can reply within 7 days. We will decide within 15 days of your reply.
9. Checking a charge
If you think a deduction or refund amount is wrong, contact our Grievance Officer, Mr. Logesh Mithran, at mithran@gogocabs.com or +91 90928 90928. We will respond within 48 hours and will reverse any charge that was not due.
10. Customer refunds
Customers are not charged in advance, so there is nothing to refund to them. Customers pay the Driver at the end of the trip. Customer cancellation charges are explained on the Gogo Cabs customer site.
11. Taxes and invoices
We issue GST invoices for fees and charges. You are responsible for your own tax on what you earn from rides.
12. Changes and contact
We may update this policy and will tell you on the Platform before changes apply to new rides. Questions: support@gogocabs.com or +91 90928 90928.
